The North Country Fair is a home-grown two-day event held in late September, featuring live music, several arts and crafts vendors, food, beer, and a community gathering like no other in Arcata. The fair is a celebration of community and arts, and it's a great way to experience the laid-back vibe of the city.

Kinetic Grand Championship

The Kinetic Grand Championship is a not-to-be missed three-day event held on Memorial Day weekend, featuring a wacky and wonderful race of human-powered vehicles that traverse land, sand, and sea. Humboldt Crabs Baseball Games

The Humboldt Crabs are a local Semi-professional baseball team that plays in the summer months at the historic Arcata Ball Park, just east of the plaza.
